I’ve tried many recipes for Banana Bread and this one tops them all. So easy, very moist & all around goodness!
¾ cup butter (1½ blocks)
1½ cups sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups flour
¼ cup sour cream (little tub)
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ cup walnuts and/or chocolate chips (optional)
1 cup mash banana’s (2 large banana’s)
Cream together the butter & sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Stir in all dry ingredients and mix well.
Add sour cream, vanilla & nuts and mix well. Fold in Banana’s.
Pour into 4 small greased loaf pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
* Baking in a larger loaf pan may require more time in the oven.
* Pour into muffin pans for a Quick&Easy/Grab&Go breakfast. Check after 20 min in oven.
